Election FAQ's

How do I register to vote?

Check the "Register to Vote" page. You may register at the locations listed or mail in the registration form provided along with photo ID if you meet the legal requirements.

How do I find out what is on the ballot?

Check the "Upcoming Election Info" page. A sample ballot will be available there approximately 60 days prior to each election. You can also check the State Board of Elections website for a voters guide and listings of state and federal candidates.

Can I vote before Election Day?

Yes. Check the "Vote by Mail" page. You may vote early in person prior to each election or by vote by mail ballot by completing and returning the proper application.

What precinct am I in? Where do I vote?

Your voter registration card will list your precinct and its polling place. You can also check the "Where do I Vote?" page or the "Check My Registration Status" page. Call our office if you’re still unsure.
